Ref A017 - Palazzo FanesiA XVIII Century noble palace with a XV Century tower, in the heart of Montefiore dell'Aso a typical hilltop village in the Marche region near Ascoli Piceno. The circa 1000 sqm Palace has four floors and three entraces: one on the main street and two give onto the characteristic narrow streets of the ancient village. The first floor (185 sq.m.) has five ancient doors that give access to what in the old days were the sellars, the stables and the workshops. Today these rooms could be rented for commercial use. This floor also leads onto the very pretty walled garden that is South facing and, again, the views are exceptional. Thanks to the high position of the building the noble floor (210 sqm and frescoed) has wonderful views across the old roofs of the village, from the sea right up to the Sibillini mountains. Third and fourth floor (210 sqm each) are rectangular in shape and, thanks to the many windows, can be divided as preferred: eg. Hotel, B&B, small apartments or simply as a magnificent private residence. The Tower, recently restaured, has four floors of 40 square meters each, and is connected to the main building. On the last floor there is a terrace with a spectacular view over the sea, the Sibillini mountains and the colorful fields. There is even a useful 38 sq.m. depot in a nearby old house. The structure of the building is in generally in very good condition: the roof, the chestnut tree beams and ancient terra cotta tiles are all in good working order. The village of Montefiore dell'Aso is 400 meters o.s.l. and 7 km from the Adriatic sea. Most of the services including a hospital, a pharmacy, a post office, Banks, bars, a cinema, a library, hotels and restaurants etc. are within about 200 m of the Palace.
